Md Faruque Miah

My name is Md. Faruque Miah, I am a dedicated professional with expertise in international student admissions, academic administration, and global partnerships. Currently, I serve as an Assistant Director in the Admission and Counseling Department at Daffodil International University (DIU), where I play a key role in managing international student enrollment. My responsibilities include recruiting students from different countries, handling visa and immigration processes, facilitating faculty visa applications, and ensuring smooth airport receptions for foreign delegates attending seminars, workshops, and other international events.
With over seven years of experience in higher education administration, I have been actively involved in DIU’s internationalization efforts. I have been entrusted with special assignments, including leading the admission process for DIU’s RAK Campus in the UAE, managing Palestinian student enrollments under scholarship programs, and coordinating the DIU-BCU MPH program. Additionally, I organize special events for international students, such as Eid celebrations, football matches, cultural festivals, and networking programs, helping them feel welcomed and engaged on campus.

I hold a 2nd Master’s degree from Master of Business Administration (MBA), Major in Finance from Daffodil International University, along with a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Management from National University. Throughout my academic journey, I took on leadership roles and served as a Class Representative in most of my MBA courses, assisting both faculty and fellow students.

I am passionate about enhancing international student engagement, strengthening global partnerships, and creating a supportive learning environment. To improve my professional communication, I am working on advancing my English proficiency, which will help me engage more effectively with foreign delegates and contribute to DIU’s global collaborations.
