Alan Plummer

Throughout my career, I have held key roles related to the development of MSMEs and entrepreneurship in Argentina, both in the private sector and in public service. I have contributed to the design and implementation of public policies aimed at promoting financing, business support, and the competitiveness of the national productive fabric.

I combine a strategic vision with strong execution capabilities: I design programs with real territorial impact, coordinating with public and private actors to enhance results. I believe in the State as a driver and facilitator of the entrepreneurial ecosystem.

I am a Certified Public Accountant (UBA, 2010) and completed a Master’s degree in Economics and Industrial Development with a focus on MSMEs (UNGS, 2025), where I wrote the thesis titled: "The Electronic Credit Invoice as a Financing Tool for MSMEs Supplying Large Companies: An Analysis of Its Implementation and Effectiveness in Argentina from 2019 to 2022."

I have more than 18 years of professional experience, including over 8 years in the private sector, advising SMEs as an accountant, and a broad track record in the public sector, leading strategic programs to strengthen the country's entrepreneurial and productive ecosystem. Currently, in addition to my public service work, I volunteer as a researcher at CEDEAM (Center for Economic Development Studies of the AMBA) at the Faculty of Economic Sciences, University of Buenos Aires.

I consider myself a positive, creative, flexible, and conciliatory person, with strong active listening skills. I am driven by sharing knowledge, connecting people and institutions, and building collaborative relationships that generate impact. I enjoy traveling, sports, and spending time with my family.

I was a volunteer for 8 years at the civil association SonRisas, an experience that strengthened my social commitment and the values of empathy and solidarity.
