Danielle Nolan

Hello! My name is Danielle Wolter Nolan, I grew up in southern Indiana where being outdoors was part of my upbringing, whether it was playing a sport or just being with family and friends. I went on to play Division I golf at Purdue and the University of Evansville and then was a coach for IUPUI. I loved being able to help others achieve their personal and professional goals on and off the field.
In 2014 my now wife Kate and I founded DNK Presents, an outdoor adventure guide company. We organized and guided empowering outdoor adventure experiences for individuals, groups and businesses. We sold the business in 2023 to another outdoor adventure startup, Hoosier Adventure.
In 2020 we opened Brown County Bikes, the premiere full service bike store in downtown Nashville, Indiana (also known as Brown County). We sell and rent bikes including e-bikes and youth bikes and provide guide tours and professional mountain bike coaching. Brown County Bikes also provides full service repair and maintenance, as well as gear and accessories for all your cycling needs.
In 2020 we also formed out non-profit, Live Adventurously which runs the Brown County Youth Mountain Bike Project. We have a fleet of bikes that we take to the schools and Brown County State Park for events to teach kids the skills to mountain bike so they can have more fun, be safe and increase their confidence. We are currently raising money to build a pump track in our town.
We live in Brown County with our 2 boys, Asher (6) and Knox (4) who are getting faster on the bike every day! We look forward to connecting with other businesses.
