Dayten Israel

Dayten Israel is an accomplished leader, young professional, community advocate, and champion of Oklahoma entrepreneurship. He currently serves as director of Startup OU, an entrepreneurship hub at the University of Oklahoma. Dayten created the founding architecture for the organization’s early community and venture acceleration programs, later spearheading the development and launch of several experiential initiatives, startup competitions, and pre-seed funding streams. Dayten has since restructured and expanded the organization’s incubation and other venture creation programs, today managing a portfolio of early-stage startups that have secured more than $3M in early funding. Dayten also serves as a supervising attorney to the University of Oklahoma Entrepreneurial Law Center, of which Dayten was a founding architect and early champion. Outside of university entrepreneurship, Dayten operates a boutique law firm specializing in startup transactions, as well as volunteers with several community organizations to remove barriers to entrepreneurship.
