Dacia Clark

Dacia A. Clark is a dedicated and accomplished leader in small business development, currently serving as the Regional Director of the Kansas Small Business Development Center (SBDC) at Pittsburg State University. With over 15 years of experience supporting entrepreneurship and higher education, Dacia has played a critical role in building stronger, more resilient communities throughout Southeast Kansas.

In her current role, she manages staffing, budgets, and programming across a 13-county service area, providing vital resources and guidance to small businesses. Her work includes building strategic partnerships with chambers of commerce, economic development organizations, and financial institutions. Dacia delivers hands-on financial and managerial counseling to entrepreneurs, helping them launch, stabilize, and grow their businesses.

Her prior roles include Assistant Director and Small Business Advisor at the PSU SBDC, where she supported businesses statewide through call center and online platforms, maintained financial compliance, and contributed to statewide impact reporting. From 2020 to 2023, she also served as an Instructor at PSU's Kelce College of Business and the Gorilla Gateway program, mentoring students and fostering entrepreneurial thinking.

Dacia earned her Master of Business Administration from Pittsburg State University and a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Kansas State University. She holds certifications as a QuickBooks Pro Advisor and Microsoft Office Specialist in Excel.

Beyond her professional responsibilities, Dacia is deeply committed to community service. She has served as a longtime board member and chair for The Salvation Army, a United Way allocation volunteer, and an active participant in Pittsburg Area Chamber of Commerce initiatives, including Youth Leadership and Operation Thank You. Her efforts have earned recognition, including the Women of Distinction Award and completion of the Leadership Crawford County program in 2016.
