Diana Rayyan

Diana Rayyan is the visionary founder and Sustainability & Creative Strategy Advisor at Kees Chic, an innovative social enterprise dedicated to upcycling urban products through local marginalized artisans. With a background in pharmacy from the University of Jordan and an MBA in Entrepreneurship & Leadership from Prince Mohammed Bin Salman College of Business & Entrepreneurship (MBSC), Diana has seamlessly merged her scientific expertise with her passion for sustainability and social impact.

Her journey began when she was deeply moved by the environmental consequences of plastic waste, inspiring her to explore creative solutions for repurposing discarded materials. In 2009, she conceptualized the idea of transforming plastic bags into stylish, functional items, and by 2012, she had successfully trained women from shelters to craft these products, providing them with a sustainable source of income.

Under Diana’s leadership, Kees Chic has gained international recognition, exhibiting at Milan & Amman Design Weeks and earning accolades from prestigious institutions such as Harvard, MIT, KAUST, KAAYIA, and the Emirate Ministry of Economy. Her work exemplifies the intersection of fashion, social innovation, and sustainability, making Kees Chic a pioneering force in eco-conscious design.

Diana continues to champion environmental, social, and economic development through her entrepreneurial ventures, ensuring that sustainability remains at the heart of her mission.
