Diyar Khoshnaw

Diyar Mustafa Khoshnaw, Ph.D. is a Lecturer and researcher in Business Administration and Entrepreneurship in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq. He holds a Ph.D. in Business Administration with a specialization in Entrepreneurship and Ambidexterity, as well as a Master’s degree in Business Administration (Entrepreneurship).

With more than 10 years of experience in higher education, entrepreneurship education, training, and business development, Diyar has worked with students, entrepreneurs, organizations, and development initiatives. His professional interests include entrepreneurship, innovation, entrepreneurial leadership, strategic management, organizational ambidexterity, and sustainable business development.

He has also participated in several international professional in entrepreneurship and leadership programs, including the U.S. Department of State’s International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP) for Entrepreneurship and Small Business Development program, the Indian Technical and Economic Cooperation (ITEC) Program in India, where he completed the Entrepreneurship for Small Business Trainers/Promoters (ESB-TP) program, and the Youth Vision Assembly 2025 in Amsterdam, Netherlands, which brought together young professionals and leaders for international dialogue and engagement. These experiences have strengthened his international perspective, professional network, and commitment to entrepreneurship, leadership, and cross-cultural collaboration. These experiences have strengthened his international perspective on entrepreneurship, capacity building, and small business development.. He is particularly interested in promoting entrepreneurial mindsets, supporting young entrepreneurs, strengthening entrepreneurship education, and developing international collaboration and knowledge exchange.
Through his academic, research, and professional activities, Diyar aims to contribute to the development of entrepreneurial ecosystems and create opportunities for individuals and organizations to transform ideas into sustainable ventures and social and economic value.
In addition to his academic work, Diyar has delivered training programs in capacity building, entrepreneurship, and business development in collaboration with NGOs, companies, and development organizations. These experiences have strengthened his practical engagement with entrepreneurs, professionals, and organizations and allowed him to connect academic knowledge with real-world business and community development.
