Doug is a former government advisor on Science and Technology, and has worked with computers for over thirty five years. As a software consultant his clients include Bank America, London Stock Exchange, American Express, Reuters, Deutsche Morgan Grenfell and Digital Equipment Corporation.

He is passionate about helping young people learn by doing. As founder of 6W2X, a social enterprise accelerator, he is particularly interested in lean start up and developing novel business models for purpose-lead businesses. Teams of mentors use a novel thought processor to provide innovative solutions to challenges faced by startups.
