Olufunmilayo Adeniyi

I’m Dr. Funmi Adeniyi — a visionary dedicated to elevating Africa through healthcare, innovation, and social impact. I’m a dentist with over 14 years of experience, and the founder of Luxe Dental Clinic, Smile Doctor Foundation, and Body Pantry International Limited — three purpose-driven brands that represent excellence, compassion, and cultural preservation.

After earning my Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the College of Medicine, University of Lagos, I built my career in private dental care and healthcare management. In 2019, while pregnant with my third child and with less than $2,000 in capital, I bootstrapped Luxe Dental Clinic. Today, it’s a world-class dental facility that has transformed hundreds of smiles and lives. My mission has always been simple but powerful: to make quality dental care both accessible and unforgettable.

My passion for public health led me to establish Smile Doctor Foundation, a nonprofit committed to improving access to dental care in underserved rural and semi-urban communities. Through outreach, education, and advocacy, I’m working toward a future where no one is left behind when it comes to oral health.

In addition, I founded Body Pantry International, a fashion brand that fuses sustainability and African heritage. We've showcased in global trade shows across Houston, Dubai, Nairobi, and Lagos, promoting eco-conscious fabric production and biomaterials. The brand also empowers women artisans and supports the education of out-of-school children — combining impact with style.

I also host the “Made For More” podcast, a platform where I inspire women and youth to live with purpose, faith, and vision. I’m grateful to be a two-time best-selling author, and I use my voice to advocate for leadership, entrepreneurship, and family balance among African women.

I’m married to my best friend, Dr. Damilola Adeniyi — the family life doctor — and together we’re raising three beautiful children. I believe that faith, love, and legacy are the true markers of success, and I wake up each day determined to build a healthier, more empowered Africa.
