Kim Freeze

As a serial entrepreneur, starting my first company at the age of 19. I continued on an entrepreneurial journey over 23 various businesses and startups. My career has evolved over time, to the complete of a doctoral degree in clinical psychology centered around entrepreneurial mindset, working in higher education as a Dean, to move back into the entrepreneurial space as an ecosystem builder, educator, mentor and supporter of entrepreneurs and startups.

I’m passionate about turning ideas into action and creating spaces where both people and businesses thrive. With decades of experience as an entrepreneur, clinical psychologist, and educator, I help individuals and communities unlock their potential through entrepreneurial mindset, purpose-driven action, and mental health advocacy.

As a psychology professor at a community college, I integrate entrepreneurial thinking into my courses, helping students build confidence, resilience, and the skills they need to realize their full potential. But my work doesn’t stop in the classroom. I lead initiatives like 1 Million Cups, ideation workshops, and pitch nights, giving entrepreneurs the tools, connections, and platforms they need to bring their ideas to life.

Through mentorship and coaching, I guide entrepreneurs and startups through every stage of their journey—helping them align their purpose with action, build sustainable businesses, and navigate the mental challenges that come with entrepreneurship. My approach is rooted in fostering resilience, clarity, and confidence, ensuring that both individuals and their ventures can flourish.

My research and work with The Seed Collective Catalyst focus on the intersection of mental health and entrepreneurship—using the entrepreneurial mindset as a powerful tool for healing, growth, and positive change. I’ve seen firsthand how this approach fosters not just strong businesses, but resilient, empowered individuals.
