Jordann Norbert

Jordann Norbert currently serves as the CEO of the EcoFood Training and Certification Agency. Her expertise in this capacity is Sustainable Food and Beverage/Hospitality educator, curriculum designer and consultant as well as Sustainable Food Systems Specialist. She has served at a Food, Nutritikn and Health educator within the secondary school system for almost a decade. She completed her BSc. In Hotel and Resort management in 2013 at the University of Technology, Jamaica and went on to pursue her Masters of Science in Executive Leadership in Hospitality Management at Monroe College in 2018.
She has served as Program Assistant and mentor for the Academy for Women Entrepreneurs under SLUDTERA a local organization, providing mentorship, training and support to budding female entrepreneurs in St. Lucia. She has been an Island Innovation Ambassador under the Island Innovation company, an organization that facilitates connections between island stakeholders and sustainable development practitioners across the globe to share knowledge and promote collaboration. In this capacity she acted as local lead organizer for St. Lucia's local event in conjunction with the Virtual Island Summit which was held from September 6th, 2022 to October 2nd, 2022 hosted by Island Innovation, under theme being "The Future of Tourism in St. Lucia: Sun, Sea and Sustainability".
She has also served as a business coach for budding green entrepreneurs in the Eastern Caribbean under the Global Green Growth Institute (GGGI) and has served her community through the Like A Chef program serving over 500 persons through this program as well as others through education and economic empowerment.
Since starting her entrepreneurial journey in 2021, she has been awarded 2nd runner-up for the National Entrepreneurship World Cup Competition for her Green Cuisine Initiative, as well as being a finalist for the Global Green Growth Institute Incubator Program in 2022 and has served as a guest speaker and business coach for the program’s participants in 2023. She also represented St. Lucia in the Climate Launchpad Accelerator Program national finals.
Under her leadership she has solidified strategic partnerships with The Taiwanese Technical Mission, Saint Lucia, The Food Hygiene Bureau (Jamaica), and the Worldchef’s Association (France).
She has been an avid advocate for sustainability within the hospitality and tourism sector for the past 12 years holding the title of Sustainability Trainer under the World Association of Chefs Societies in France and holding other professional certificates in Susta
