Einas Abood

I am Dr. Einas Abdulaziz Abood, a professional dedicated to empowering individuals and organizations through education, strategic innovation, and sustainable economic development.

My professional journey began at the University of Basrah, where I served for over three years as the Director of Communications and Public Relations at the Career Development and Employment Center. I later assumed leadership as the Director of the Center for one year and eight months, overseeing career counseling and professional development services for more than 65,000 students across 21 colleges and 76 departments. During this period, I cultivated strong partnerships with the public and private sectors, established market-driven training programs, and helped bridge the gap between academic education and professional life.

Today, I am a Business Consultant and Project Manager at Eden Organization for Economic Development (EOED), where I focus on designing and managing projects that foster entrepreneurship, empower businesses, and contribute to sustainable economic growth. My work includes capacity building, strategic consulting, and partnership development to support entrepreneurs, startups, and communities.

In addition to my consulting work, I am a certified professional trainer for the Riyada Initiative, a national program dedicated to nurturing leadership, innovation, and entrepreneurship among youth and emerging leaders. Through Riyada, I deliver training programs that emphasize skill development, creative thinking, and market readiness, helping individuals and institutions thrive in an increasingly dynamic world.

My academic background also shapes my vision. I hold a Ph.D. in Chemistry from Newcastle University in the United Kingdom, having been a recipient of a prestigious government scholarship. Although my field of study may seem distant from economics and development, my passion for fostering growth and empowerment has been a consistent thread throughout my journey. Even during my time abroad, I engaged in initiatives and activities related to economic development, entrepreneurship, and community empowerment, experiences that have greatly enriched my current work.
