Emmanuel S. Kamara

Emmanuel Kamara is the founder of Freetown Markit, a thriving startup Multi-vendor e-commerce platform. With a deep passion for entrepreneurship and a keen driven interest in the e-commerce landscape, he is working diligently to build Freetown Markit from the ground up.

With almost half a decade of experience in the digital space, Emmanuel Kamara has established Freetown Markit to be a trusted platform connecting sellers and buyers, especially trying to transform traders with FMCG (Fast Moving Customer Goods) to be formal in Sierra Leone and the world at large.

Prior to and during the founding of Freetown Markit, Emmanuel Kamara honed his skill in the e-commerce industry through various roles, including working as a Head of Operations for Sendme SL, was part of the startup team for Smart Pay SL and working as a volunteer for the Logo Hope. He possesses a deep understanding of the challenges faced by vendors and he is dedicated to supporting their growth and success in the digital marketplace.

Beyond Freetown Markit, Emmanuel Kamara is looking and working toward advocating for entrepreneurship and supporting aspiring business owners through mentorship programs and startup incubators. He believes in fostering a thriving entrepreneurial ecosystem and actively contributes to initiatives that promote economic growth and empowerment.

Emmanuel Sallieu Kamara is a final year Building and Civil Engineering student from Milton Margai Technical University (University of Sierra Leone). He continues to stay engaged in continuous learning, attending industry conferences and workshops to enhance his skills and knowledge
