Ephraim Palmero

Ephraim leads Rural LISC business development organization network and serves as the main point of contact and advisor on small business and entrepreneurship for Rural LISC partners across the United States.

With a global background in international development, community development, and city government, Ephraim affirms his commitment to revitalize urban and rural communities through increasing access to financial capital and technical assistance.

Ephraim holds a Masters in Community & International Development and a Bachelor's in Political Science from Andrews University, an Associates in Criminal Justice from Tidewater Community College, and an International Public and NGO Management Certificate from Cornell University.

Ephraim earned several accolades including 2024 Elevate Award Finalist for the Nonprofit Employee of the Year by United Way of Central Indiana and was featured in the Indianapolis Business Journal 20 in Their Twenties Class of 2023. He is a part of the 2024 Cohort of the James T. Morris Global Leadership Series by the International Center and Class 12 of IndyHub 1828 Leadership Project.

He currently serves on the board of the Center of Interfaith Corporation, Immigrant Welcome Center, the Philippines Community Center, the Asian Pacific Islander American Public Affairs Indiana Chapter, and was appointed by Mayor Joe Hogsett to the Indianapolis Greenways Development Committee.
