Ken Patrick Barry

Ken Barry holds both an MBA and a Master’s degree in Higher Education Administration, along with a Certificate in Fundraising Management from Indiana University and a Certificate in Management Essentials from Harvard Business School. With over two decades of experience in the nonprofit sector and more than 10 years in executive leadership roles, Ken is a recognized advocate for entrepreneurship and community empowerment.

In 2024, Ken was honored with two prestigious awards: the Indiana Small Business Development Center of Northwest Indiana's e-Day Advocate for Youth Entrepreneurship Award and Indiana University’s Office of the Vice President for Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Martin Luther King Bridge Builder Award for the northwest region. He is also a member of the Purdue Northwest Society of Innovators, a Mitch Daniels Leadership Fellow, and the 2022 recipient of the Urban League of Northwest Indiana Youth Award for DEI.

Most recently, Ken launched the "I Am the Plug" youth entrepreneurship initiative through Uthiverse Enterprises. This program empowers young people by offering real-world entrepreneurial experiences, equipping them with the skills, knowledge, and resources to manage their own businesses, and fostering innovation, leadership, and financial independence through hands-on learning.
