Dr Fekadu Yehuwalashet (Assi. Prof.)

Dr Fekadu Yehuwalashet, have PhD in commerce and management studies from Andhra university, India, MBA from Addis Ababa University, Ethiopia, and Bachelor degree in Banking and Insurance from Jimma University, Ethiopia. Currently he is an Assistant Professor of management at Jigjiga university, Ethiopia. He has more than 15 years of experience in Academia, Research activities and Community service, of which 11 of which were spent in various management and technical leadership roles. He taught various graduate level classes at MBA, Project Planning and Management, Governance, Economics, Logistics and Supply Chain Management masters level programs at Jigjiga University Ethiopia and University of Hargeisa, Somaliland (neighboring country). he is Certified UNDP and ILO trainer in Entrepreneurship, and Certified Business Development Service Advisors.

In addition, he is certified trainer, business consultant, founder and general manager of Lebawi training and business consultancy firm since 2020. He participated and trained various skill based training programs especially in entrepreneurship, business development, employability skills, cv and job application writing, interview preparation, innovation, leadership, business development, project planning and management, human resource management, research methodology, logistics, marketing and other topics. He is also serving as a recruitment Specialist at African Rebirth mentorship program.

He also worked and working with various NGOs (UNHCR, UNDP) and European Union Projects. he also work with local Ethiopian companies and neighboring country offices. he also have more than 10 published and unpublished articles most of them on Entrepreneurship, also presented papers in international conferences in India. In addition he is a Reviewer Board Member at Business Ethics and Leadership (BEL) and Editorial Committee Member at European Scientific Journal, ESJ- for Social Sciences researches.

He is certified from Arizona state University (ASU)- Master Class: Foundations for Excellence in Teaching Online, Entrepreneurship in Emerging Economies - Harvard Executive Education, other certificates from university of London, Indiana University USA, University of Geneva, University of Maryland, University of California and from other local universities in various expertise area (certificates will be provided if required for confirmation).

He was Finalist on SDGs Innovation Challenge 2022.

He is committed with experience in management, leadership, life skills and entrepreneurship.
