Filip Nevžala

I consider myself a reliable, persistent, and creative person. While in the workplace, I strengthen the
commitment and success of every team. I am a professional with almost ten years of work
experience in the fundraising department of the Unicef Office for Croatia. My professional
trajectory led me to the responsible position of Face-to-Face Fundraising Coordinator for Rijeka,
where I managed the Unicef regional office for eight years. The most significant part of my job
consisted of challenging yet inspiring daily work with people. Leadership, persuasive skills, and
communication are the fruits of the work I did. Leadership, strategies, administration, training, job
interviews, and financial operations are areas of my professional growth.

The knowledge and skills gained through practical work are further strengthened by my formal legal
education. While studying law, along with a full-time job, I developed precision, analytical skills,
multitasking, and time management skills. I’ve also improved my English language skills through
study subjects such as English Language for the Legal Profession I and II, and the Laws of Marine
Environment Protection in English. I have used it continuously during my previous work, that is, in
workshops with colleagues from other countries or in official communication, as well as several times
per year during performance reviews.
