Favie Kaneza

Favie Kaneza is a coach and works as youth's advisor at the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands. 

As youth's advisor, she has developed and initiated a communication campain called #NUKU (Nawe Urashoboye Kubikora/You also can do it!) where she wanted to promote a new approach towards effective youth entrepreneurship in Burundi; ''Youth Empowerment by Youth and for Youth''. She believes that as youth we have so much to share with our peers and seeing us succeeding speaking much to others than being told about our success by others.

As a coach, she is often invited to high schools to share her experience and encourage but also accompany other youth especially young girls towards achieving their goals and ambitions.

Versatile, Favie aims at delivering her best in everything she undertakes and she considers herself as eternal student as everything in life has something new it can teach us. It is a matter of the angle one decides to look at it

Her future perspective is to launch an initiative called #TOSS (Tell the Other Side of the Story) as she has noticed that the major barrier to creativity and innovation in Burundi is lack of information on the history where there were (and probably still are) many Burundians who created and manufactured important products using local raw materials and with an incredible level of creativity and innovation
