Surya Pratap Singh Bhati

Surya Pratap Singh Bhati is an accomplished international entrepreneur, hotelier, and service excellence leader with a bold vision for transforming education, hospitality, and digital innovation through global entrepreneurship. Indian-born (Banasar - Bhati lineage) and Swiss-based, Mr. Bhati brings over 15 years of international experience across Switzerland, Germany, Ireland, Saudi Arabia, India, and the UAE, having worked with leading corporations before launching his own ventures.
He is a graduate of the Swiss Hotel Management School (SHMS) and the University of Derby (UK), and a certified hotelier by the American Hotel & Lodging Educational Institute (AHLEI, USA).
In 2017, Mr. Bhati launched Swiss Hospitality Education Group (SHEG) in India—a pioneering educational and hospitality consultancy that now partners with over 200 schools and colleges and 50+ luxury hotels and restaurant chains. SHEG has become a cornerstone for institutions seeking global-level quality, innovation, and operational excellence.
In 2019, he expanded his global reach with the establishment of SHP Experts SA in Switzerland and the launch of the World India Forum, a platform dedicated to fostering international collaboration, entrepreneurship, and leadership development for the Indian diaspora and beyond.
Mr. Bhati is also the co-founder of Mindful Digital Solutions, a technology consultancy specializing in software development and digital transformation, and Swiss Pro Services FZ, providing international business services and consultancy.
As Vice President of Swiss Education Group (SEG)—Switzerland’s largest private hospitality education provider—he leads market strategy and operations for India and the subcontinent. SEG operates four of the world’s top-ranked hospitality institutions and educates over 6,000 students annually from more than 100 countries.
Beyond his ventures, Mr. Bhati is an influential voice in international entrepreneurship, heritage-driven innovation, and digital solutions. He is an active member of the Global India Initiative (UK), the Hotels & Restaurant Association of Rajasthan (HRAR), and the Indian Heritage Hotels Association (IHHA).
