Abel Teewon

I am Abel N. Teewon born on June 5, 1995 in Gompa City, Nimba County-Liberia to the union of Mrs. Mrs. and Mr. Samuel Teewon.
I started my education at Gbloryee United Methodist School in Ganta where I remained until I completed my primary school education in 2007.
After completing primary education, I enrolled at the most prestigious John Wesley Pearson High School where I also remained and graduated as Valedictorian in June 2014. During my days at J. W. Pearson, I served in many capacities such as Director of Health Club, Captain for Quizzing/Debate Team, Secretary General of the Student council amongst others.
After graduation from J. W. Pearson, I taught Physics, Biology and Agriculture at the Geolanda Community School for SEM I-2014/2015; where I have to leave for Tappita City for family reasons.
In August of 2015, I got Admission at the William V.S. Tubman University where I studied Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering and Graduated in November, 2020. While at TU, I served several roles in the student community such as Secretary General of Scholar Congress, Chairman of Electoral Committee College of Engineering and Technology, Mathematics Classroom Teacher for Tutorial Program, Resident Hall Assistant, amongst others.
After graduating from Tubman University, I worked in several capacities: Junior Civil engineer ( Southeastern Group 4 Companies, Inc), Site Supervisor for the Construction of a 40/80 TPH Palm Mill in Pleebo, MarylandCounty (Grand Euchant Liberia Ltd) where I remaining until my resignation in 2021 and moved to Nimba.
While in Nimba, I worked as Project Engineer (Focus Construction and Architectural Designs Inc), Mathematics Teacher (Riverview International Christian Academy), Executive Secretary to CEO (Law Chambers for the Protection of Human Dignity), amongst others.
Due to my quest to actively practice Civil Engineering, I moved to RiverGee where I served as a project manager on the construction of the Jaytoken PHC 2. I remained on this job until I was called by AML to join their team as Engineer-In-Training on the Young Professional Program. During this internship program I worked as an EIT in both Yekepa and Buchanan.
In February of 2024, I was fully transition to an employee of AML acquiring the role of Supervisor-Construction (AML Buchanan Estate).
Along these years, I established two companies: Fidelity Engineering and Real Estate Services and GrowthPace Multipurpose Enterprises Inc acting as General Manager and CEO respectively.
Currently, I am pursuing my MBA in Project Management from Starz University.
