Hilary Schultz, MS, an internationally recognized serial entrepreneur. Hilary’s extensive experience spans across Private Equity, venture capital, merchant banking, biotechnology, and academic to industry company formation.

With a foundation in Molecular Biology from Harvard University and a Master’s degree in Biomedicine and Business from Drexel University College of Medicine, Hilary has consistently demonstrated her ability to drive innovation and foster growth in the life sciences sector.

As the founder of Organizational Development at Nucleate Bio, Hilary was instrumental in scaling a successful Harvard-based accelerator program and supporting its expansion to 18 global regions. During her tenure, Nucleate’s Activator Alumni achieved impressive milestones, including raising over $170 million, creating more than 121 biotech jobs, and forming over 175 venture teams.

Hilary’s venture capital expertise includes advising companies from pre-corporation to Series B on matters such as mergers and acquisitions, cross-border licensing, regulatory strategy, fundraising, technical and financial diligence, intellectual property, and strategic institutional partnerships.

At Persephoni BioPartners, Hilary has been the driving force behind the incorporation of several Philadelphia-based biotechnology companies. Through her leadership, Persephoni has successfully secured essential bridge funding, fostered institutional partnerships, and built critical corporate leadership and scientific teams, with a goal of raising $100 million in venture funding to deploy value creation funding to portfolio companies and our partners.
