Hina Tariq

Hina is a global startup community builder and a professional trainer of business & digital literacy for Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) with over five years of experience in community building for tech entrepreneurs, empowering women in technology, and building professional relationships with the local and global startup ecosystem leaders. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Information Technology University (ITU) Punjab, Pakistan. During her professional work experience, she has developed marketing skills, project management skills, and business development skills by building new connections using mass email marketing and LinkedIn and identifying potential organizations for prospective collaboration and partnerships. She is associated with Superior University as Global Community Manager at Center for Entrepreneurship Development (CMACED). Her core responsibilities are, to increase international connections by connecting the local startup community with the global startup community. She is also working as a lead business trainer with CIRCLE foundation to educate women on digital literacy, capacity building, and business development skills. She has successfully completed 9 cohorts of 400+ aspiring female entrepreneurs belonging to underdeveloped cities and disadvantaged areas in Pakistan (Rahim Yar Khan, Bahawalpur, Muzaffargarh) and contributed to a project named, Digital Literacy Program funded by the well-known organization UN WOMEN. 49% of women are earning, 300+ Facebook profiles created for their online businesses, and 56% of women started using online payment platforms, Easypaisa. She is currently serving the local startup community as Chapter Director of Startup Grind, powered by Google for startups and creating an impact in the APAC Region, within 3 months she engaged 80+ aspiring entrepreneurs by connecting them with 5+ leading local founders as mentors. Hina has a strong passion for creating social impact in the community by enabling young aspiring entrepreneurs so they can also contribute economically and solve real-world problems.
