Muhammad Imrana

Muhammad Imrana is a Nigerian communications professional, community development advocate, entrepreneur, and emerging professional with experience in verification, administration, customer service, education, business operations, media, and community engagement. He is passionate about using communication, technology, and community-based initiatives to contribute to social and economic development, particularly among young people.

He holds a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Mass Communication from Nuhu Bamalli Polytechnic, Zaria, where he graduated with Second Class Upper Division in 2023. He previously obtained a National Diploma (ND) in Mass Communication from the same institution in 2019, also with Second Class Upper Division, and a Professional Diploma in Mass Communication from Ameer Shehu Idris College of Advanced Studies, affiliated with Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria.

Muhammad has developed a diverse professional background. He currently works as a Verification Officer, where he conducts field verification, validates addresses and information, interacts with individuals and communities, uses digital mapping and verification platforms, and prepares accurate reports based on field findings. This role has strengthened his attention to detail, communication, problem-solving, data collection, and ability to work independently under field conditions.

His earlier experience includes working as a teacher, where he gained practical experience in communication, classroom management, mentoring, and community interaction. He has also worked in business operations management, handling daily operations, customer relations, record keeping, staff coordination, and activities aimed at improving business performance. His professional exposure also includes media-related work as a script writer and film producer, as well as practical experience gained through industrial training in broadcasting.

Muhammad has continuously invested in professional development. His additional training includes Virtual Assistance, Customer Support, Social Media Assistance, Graphic Design, Introduction to Computer Repair, Data Processing, Data Analysis, Entrepreneurship and Employability, Basic Interior and Furniture Making, and Tailoring and Fashion Design. These experiences reflect his commitment to lifelong learning and his ability to adapt to changing workplace requirements.

Beyond his professional career, Muhammad is the Founder/Coordinator of Our Future, Drug-Free Campaign (OFDC), an independent community-focused initiative based in Zaria, Kaduna State. Through OFDC, he promotes drug-abuse prevention, youth empowerment, community awareness, education, and positive social development. The initiative is built around the theme “Prevent. Educate. Empower: Building a Drug-Free Generation.” His advocacy work focuses on engaging young people, students, parents, educators, and community stakeholders in creating safer and healthier communities.

Muhammad is also interested in community development, youth empowerment, digital skills, entrepreneurship, education, communications, data collection, customer experience, and social impact. He believes that meaningful development requires informed communities, responsible leadership, practical skills, and opportunities that enable young people to participate positively in society.

His combination of academic training in Mass Communication, field verification experience, business and customer-service exposure, digital skills, and community advocacy gives him a multidisciplinary perspective. He is particularly interested in opportunities that allow him to contribute to organizations working in development, communications, administration, technology, social impact, business operations, and community engagement.
