Mohammod Mosharrof Hossain

Biography of Mohammod Mosharrof Hossain

Mohammod Mosharrof Hossain is a Bangladeshi social entrepreneur, skills development expert, trainer, researcher, and organizational development professional with extensive experience in entrepreneurship development, youth skills training, caregiving workforce development, social innovation, and community-based development initiatives.

He is the Founder and Team Leader of eSheBee Institute & Caregiving Agency, Proprietor of eSheBee Enterprises, and Executive Director/Secretary of eSheBee Foundation. Through these organizations, he has been working to promote productive employment, entrepreneurship, women’s economic empowerment, caregiving skills, digital inclusion, and sustainable community development in Bangladesh and beyond.

Mr. Hossain holds a Master’s degree in Sociology and has completed several national and international professional development courses, including the Commonwealth Diploma in Development and training programs related to entrepreneurship, export readiness, SME development, and project management. His professional journey combines development practice, institutional leadership, training facilitation, research support, and international collaboration.

He previously served as the Chief Executive Officer of the Agro Food Industry Skills Council (AFISC), where he contributed to skills system development, competency-based training, industry linkage, and assessment-related initiatives. He has also worked with different public, private, academic, and development organizations in areas such as skills training, entrepreneurship development, project design, capacity building, stakeholder engagement, and research-based innovation.

As a trainer and facilitator, Mr. Hossain has conducted entrepreneurship development training for youth, women entrepreneurs, and skills trainees under different programs and institutions. He has been assigned to conduct Entrepreneurship Development training under national skills and SME-focused initiatives. His training approach combines practical business planning, market analysis, financial literacy, idea generation, confidence building, and post-training mentoring.

Through eSheBee Institute & Caregiving Agency, he has led initiatives in caregiving training and placement services, including NSDA-accredited skills training programs in caregiving, domestic work, and entrepreneurship development. The institute works to prepare skilled human resources for local and international employment markets, particularly focusing on women, unemployed youth, disadvantaged communities, and aspiring migrant workers.

Mr. Hossain is also actively engaged in social innovation and research collaboration. He has contributed to the Model Union Project, a data-driven local development concept focused on digitizing and organizing union-level information for better governance, planning, and service delivery. He has worked with international academic partners, including collaborations linked with the University of Edinburgh and other global researchers, to explore how local data, community knowledge, and digital tools can support inclusive development.

His work also includes collaboration on the Digital Karma initiative, community climate champion development, women entrepreneurship research support, fellowship-related activities, and grassroots innovation. He has experience working with national and international partners, including universities, NGOs, skills bodies, development agencies, and private sector organizations.

Mr. Hossain’s broader professional interests include youth entrepreneurship, care economy development, migration-linked skills, women-led enterprise development, local governance innovation, climate-resilient livelihood, AI-enabled training, and cross-border professional services. He is particularly interested in developing entrepreneurship training programs that can support young people to generate business ideas, prepare business plans, access finance, and become self-employed or job creators.

His vision is to contribute to “a happy planet with gender equality, productive employment, and sustainable ecosystem.” He believes that skills, entrepreneurship, social innovation, and ethical collaboration can create meaningful economic opportunities for individuals and communities.

Currently, Mr. Hossain is exploring international collaboration and business expansion opportunities, including the possibility of establishing professional training and entrepreneurship development services in countries such as the United Kingdom and other global markets. His aim is to connect Bangladeshi expertise with international entrepreneurship ecosystems and support young people, migrants, women, and emerging entrepreneurs through practical, affordable, and impact-driven training programs.
