Michelle Loubser

Hi, I'm Michelle Loubser, the founder of The Drama Club Namibia, acting coach, educator, and passionate advocate for the performing arts.

Acting has always been more than just a hobby for me—it is a passion, a creative outlet, and a way of connecting with people through storytelling. I believe that every person has a story worth telling, and my mission is to help young performers find the confidence, skills, and courage to tell theirs.

Over the years, I have had the privilege of working with talented children, teenagers, and adults, helping them grow not only as performers but also as individuals. Through The Drama Club, I have created a space where students can feel safe, supported, and inspired to step outside their comfort zones, discover their potential, and develop a genuine love for the arts.

One of my greatest joys is creating opportunities for Namibian talent. Watching my students perform on international stages, meet industry professionals, earn scholarships, and achieve goals they once thought were impossible has been incredibly rewarding. These moments remind me why I started this journey in the first place.

My vision extends beyond acting classes. I am passionate about building a stronger performing arts and film industry in Namibia, creating opportunities for local talent, and helping aspiring actors gain the exposure and training they deserve. Through acting, filmmaking, and mentorship, I hope to inspire the next generation of storytellers and performers to dream bigger than ever before.

When I'm not teaching or working on new projects, you'll usually find me on stage, behind a camera, developing new opportunities for my students, or dreaming up the next big adventure for The Drama Club.

For me, success isn't measured by awards or recognition—it's measured by the confidence a student gains, the friendships they build, and the moment they realize that they are capable of more than they ever imagined.
