Tamu Petra Browne

Dr. Tamu Petra Browne is an Organization Transformation and Ecosystem Strategist, a visionary leader, entrepreneur, educator, and advocate, deeply committed to empowering individuals and organizations in the Caribbean to embrace innovation and achieve transformative growth. Dr. Browne is the sitting Board Chair of the Clarence Fitzroy Bryant College, and she is spearheading a comprehensive transformation initiative grounded in the principles of lean and agile operations, iterative progress, and a fundamental cultural shift bolstered by key Board Pillars. Dr. Browne is committed to pioneering work in education, entrepreneurship, and technology, consistently pushing boundaries and championing excellence.

Dr. Browne's journey began with a revolutionary approach to education. Dissatisfied with the limitations of traditional models, she founded Innovative Education and Training Solutions in 2012, becoming a pioneer in the OECS by establishing the first online learning institution in the region. This bold move democratized access to learning and is a testament to her ability to drive impactful results through innovative methods.

Tamu’s eclectic career is marked by notable leadership engagements. Dr. Browne has led a regional team since 2016 in curriculum design for the Caribbean Examinations Council as Convenor for Animation and Game Design, she has served as the only female General Manager of Automotive Arts, St. Kitts, and led the final two cycles of the SEED - the Sugar Industry Diversification Foundation’s multi-million dollar Government Venture Capital Program. Dr. Browne also sits on the Global Advisory Board of Teachers Without Borders.

Dr. Browne is a catalyst for economic growth across the entire Caribbean region and beyond,as she collaborates with entrepreneurship ecosystem partners
including UNESCO, UNDP, UWI, OAS, Caribbean Export Development Agency and Nasdaq Entrepreneurial Center to achieve the mission of the entrepreneurial leadership component of her business. Dr. Tamu’s goal is to significantly increase the number of scalable and innovative women-owned high-growth entrepreneurial ventures in the Caribbean region. She is the creator of the copyrighted High-Growth Entrepreneurship Roadmap© and the RARE Transformational Leadership Framework©. Her business is accredited as a Continuing Professional Development Provider by the UK-based CPD Group. Tamu's expertise is rooted in her strong academic foundation with numerous qualifications including, a Doctorate in Technology Entrepreneurship, a Design Thinking and Innovation Certificate, and a Professional Scrum Master Certification.

Tamu's organization and ecosystem transformation work is crafted around three pillars, namely: Strategic Process Re-engineering, Entrepreneurship Ecosystem Development, and Leadership and Governance.
