Irma Khvedeliani

Ms. Irma Khvedeliani is a professional with 28 years of professional experience in international development system: planning, management, implementation, coordination, monitoring & evaluation of the EU, USAID, UNDP, UNECE, DFID and other donor funded programs in policy advice, economic development (regional development, entrepreneurship, SME and private sector, trade, agriculture, and rural development), local governance, democracy & good governance, public administration reform, organizational development, capacity building, civic engagement, education, infrastructure development, environment and etc.
She has extensive general management experience in high level operations role in international development system, being the Team Leader, Project Director, the Director of the Department and the Member of Board of Directors.
She is the Deputy Chairman of Private Sector Development Advisory Council, under the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia. Same time, she is the Adviser at the Hazelnut Producers & Exporters Association of Georgia, Team Leader of USAID HICD Activity Project, supporting the GHGA in Organizational Strategy Development and moreover, she is the PPD Expert at the USAID Local Governance Program. Moreover, she is the Adviser to the Hazelnut Producers & Exporters Association of Georgia.
Coordination of policy development, as well economic policy research and analysis, application of economic principles in development programmes are the ones of her core competence.
Ms. Khvedeliani has a solid professional experiences in organisational strategy development and institutional capacity building of Associations, Business Support Organizations (BSOs).
Ms. Khvedeliani has long-term track record in supporting and institutional capacity building of line ministries, local governments, Parliament, private sector, NGOs, CSOs and other stakeholders in policy development, international aid programming and implementation. Furthermore, she has an expertise in communication and engagement of government, local authorities, private sector, local business communities, social partners and other stakeholders, raising awareness and strengthening capacities, discovering opportunities for collaboration, partnerships, drafting policy documents, methodologies, strategies, action plans, conducting successful public-private dialogues, advocacy and etc.
She has a solid experience in sector analysis, policy development, regional development policies, strategy formulation, 28 years in Project Cycle Management.
