Jack Wax

I'm Jack Wax, a current IU Kelley School of Business senior who has built a successful product company before graduation. My entrepreneurial journey began in high school through a business incubator program, where I developed The Handless Handle—a kitchen gadget that has now generated over $250,000 in sales with more than 26,000 units produced. After arriving at IU, I leveraged the Shoebox (now SparkLab within IU Innovates) to launch and scale my business, sourcing manufacturers in China and developing critical business skills through hands-on experience.

While managing my product business, I interned at a major internet marketing firm in Chicago, working on social media campaigns for one of America's largest beauty retailers. This experience revealed how AI and ML capabilities were creating inefficiencies for both large marketing teams and small businesses like my own, leading me to launch MARTHA AI, a platform that helps small businesses run efficient social media ads with just a few clicks. Today, I serve as a Client Manager within IU's SparkLab, where I mentor over 20 diverse startups, paying forward the support that enabled my own entrepreneurial success.
