Having spent 25 years in senior marketing roles in start-ups, challenger brands and some of the world’s largest brands, Jarmila knows the vital ingredients that go into building powerful brands, how to translate business vision into marketing strategy, and most importantly, how to turn strategy into execution. She gets the best performance out of teams and her brand of marketing cuts through the noise to capture customer imagination.

She has a Diploma in Marketing, achieved Chartered Marketer status and maintains her CPD Award annually. She is a Fellow of both The Chartered Institute of Marketing and The Institute of Data & Marketing.

Ranked a Top 100 CMO she is sought after for her expertise in Brand Management, Go-to-Market Strategy and Integrated Marketing Campaigns as well as for nurturing talent.

Identifying a gap in the market for accessible board-level marketing strategy leadership in SMEs, she’s made it her mission to provide the CMO Advantage to the SMEs that are the backbone of UK PLC and set up her own business, YUnique Marketing Ltd, to deliver just that!

Over her career she has won numerous awards in recognition of her marketing expertise. Her own business was most recently a finalist for Business Advocate in The British Business Awards 2019, and was previously a finalist for Entrepreneur of the Year and Best New Business of the Year in The National Best New Business Awards 2018. She has also served as an awards judge for both national marketing and entrepreneurship awards from organisations such as B2BMarketing and Santander,

Jarmila continually demonstrates her passion and commitment to the marketing profession and the business community with her not-for-profit work.

As an Advisory Board Member at the Royal Holloway University of London, School of Business & Management, she not only supports the school's strategic plan but keenly supports budding young entrepreneurs. Additionally, as the the Chairman of The World of Work Group at LVS Ascot School she supports the Principal devising career and employability related events and initiatives designed to expand parents and students minds as to the many and various “Routes to Work” and guides pupils to being "Work-Ready". She is a member of the Data & Marketing Association and it’s Talent Council, and is also a registered Mentor with both the DMA and the CIM, coaching young marketing talent on career development.

She keeps her finger on the pulse of business matters being a member of The Institute of Directors, the

Surrey Chambers of Commerce and The Federation of Small Business, frequently sharing her expertise speaking at events and being a generous networker. As a Business Advisor with Enterprise Nation she's supportive of the start-up community. As an ambassador for "Marketing for Good" she runs complimentary (*delegate donation to her chosen charity SATRO is welcomed) boardoom marketing strategy sessions to encourage business leaders to embrace marketing, think boldly, bravely and differently and achieve their business objectives.

Living in Surrey Heath, she is actively involved in her local business community and in local politics. She serves on the committee of her local Business Association and is also an elected Councillor. In both these roles she connects government, business, schools and community groups together to drive local improvements and promote business opportunities.

Jarmila has been featured in marketing publications and the IT trade press, and her book “Unstoppable - how to supercharge your business to achieve success by unlocking your marketing potential” which sets out to show business leaders how to take their companies to the next level, will be released in 2020.

Her vision is for YUnique Marketing to provide the CMO Advantage to the SMEs that are the backbone of UK PLC enabling them to prosper, as that will create better, more rewarding jobs and drive economic growth. This ties in with the particular UN Global Goal for Sustainable Development which she supports, which is to create decent jobs and economic growth for all #Goal 8.
