Jeffrey Robinson

Jeff is a Principal and Sustainability consultant working in Aurecon’s Melbourne office. Jeff has worked as a consulting engineer for over 36 years working in London, Ireland and for the last 26 years in Melbourne and overseas. Jeff has an industry wide reputation as a passionate advocate for great architecture and urban design and the design of net zero carbon all electric, sustainable and healthy buildings. Having seen the ability of the construction industry to change to reduce operational carbon he is now advocating for the industry to reduce embodied carbon and he jointly chairs a MECLA working group which is focused on transforming the building services supply chain to reduce embodied carbon. Jeff is an experienced green star accredited professional, Leed ap, and Infrastructure Sustainability professional, a member of the WELL Building Faculty and a WELL AP and a Climate Reality Leader. He is a member of the Property Council’s Victorian Sustainable Development Committee and is a Sustainability specialist on the Victorian Design Review Panel and City of Casey Design Excellence Panel and a board member of the Australian Passive House Association. He has recently finished 2 terms as a member of the Heritage Council of Victoria in June 2020 he was selected as one of the GBCA’s inaugural Green Star champions for his work inspiring change across the Property Industry in Australia.
