Jeremy Shure

Jeremy Shure is an investor and operations-focused business leader who works with funds, family offices, and corporates to design and execute investment strategies, build scalable platforms, and unlock long-term value. Applying his multidisciplinary background, he specializes in driving operational performance, strategic business development, and value creation through hands-on execution and a trusted network of long-term relationships. This foundation enables him to forge connections that create multiplier effects—fueling growth, uncovering inefficiencies, and unlocking high-value opportunities.

He serves as a Senior Investment Partner at Sella Direct Ventures, the venture capital platform of European financial institution Sella Group, where he also sits on the firm’s Investment Committee. Jeremy developed and scaled Sella’s end-to-end global fund investment platform—including thesis and strategy development, portfolio construction, process design, operational due diligence, manager selection, and LP relations—while navigating regulatory nuances across North America and Europe. In this role, he leads investments in venture capital funds across North America and Western Europe, drawing on his knowledge of the innovation economy, ability to identify managers with repeatable, scalable outperformance, and strong ties to key ecosystem players aligned with Sella’s priorities.

Jeremy began his career as a lawyer, founding the Emerging Companies Practice of a national law firm. He later led the East Coast Early Stage Practice at Silicon Valley Bank, and then served as Chief Revenue Officer of the first nationally chartered digital bank in the U.S.

A Kauffman Fellow and recipient of its Class Leadership Award, Jeremy has advised dozens of funds, corporates, and LPs on strategy, capital deployment, operations, and governance, with a passion for authentic relationship building and helping organizations unlock multi-dimensional value.

He lives in Westchester, NY with his wife and four children and has served on the boards of several national nonprofits. On weekends, you’ll find him coaching youth sports or diving into hobbies from guitar to magic to crossword puzzles.
