Jennifer Gasiorek

Jennifer Gasiorek is a dedicated professional currently serving as the Vice Chancellor of Workforce Partnerships and Strategic Communication for the Muncie Henry County Campus of Ivy Tech Community College. In this role, she takes on the responsibility of co-creating pipelines to help employers obtain and retain talent through comprehensive educational programs that encompass both academic and skills training. Jennifer also holds the statewide lead position for Achieve Your Degree, a program designed partner with employers to create customized training pathways and eliminate barriers for working adults seeking to further their career aspirations by obtaining a credential or degree.

Bringing more than 25 years of corporate experience to her current role, Jennifer previously worked in public relations for the National Football League Players Association in Washington DC. Returning to her Hoosier roots, she was employed by Conseco and Eli Lilly Federal Credit Union. Notably, she also served as the Director of public relations and advertising for Irwin Mortgage in Fishers, IN, at the time the third largest lender in the United States for first-time homebuyers. In this position, she served as the corporate spokesperson, handled crisis communications, investor relations, government relations, community relations, and internal communications during the height of the mortgage industry.

Jennifer's commitment to community service is evident through her involvement in various boards. She actively serves on the Delaware County Advancement Corporation’s board and serves as the Vice Chair. She is passionate about helping domestic abuse victims to help them find peach through their circumstances and has served on the Better Way Board, as well as KinderVision.

She holds a Bachelor’s degree from Ball State University and a Master’s degree from Purdue. Beyond her professional achievements, she is a newly wed to Tom Skene, and a proud mother to Emma, aged 19, and Nicholas, aged 15, and step daughters Evie, aged 19, and Lilian, aged 21.
