Hasekiel Johannes
Bio
Hasekiel Johannes is a graduate of the Namibian University Science and Technology (NUST), in the area of Economics, Innovation policy and currently studying in a final year at the University of Nicosia, Cyprus for Master of Business Administrations (MBA). He was amongst the first team members for the establishment of the first Namibia’s Innovation promotion institution known as “The Namibia Business Innovation Institute”.
After serving as an interim Country Coordinator-Namibia (2013) of a successful regional pilot programme named: “The Southern Africa Innovation Support (SAIS) programme”. Hasekiel got employed as an Innovation Officer, at the Innovation Marketplace of NBII. Four about 5 years As an Innovation Officer He encourage individuals along with social innovators to transform their creative ideas into tangible businesses in our country. Using the Idea Assessment model, He is able to advise individuals were they need to work on their ideas to make it viable.
He is the founding member of the Namibia Graduate and Students Volunteers (NGSV) that helps graduates and students to gain practical experience through internships, community development projects, Venture development and other activities that can help them gain experience.
Hasekiel regards himself as an innovator, Investor, entrepreneurs and volunteer. He is the found of J&T Business Solutions CC and H&E business Solutions CC that focus on Innovation Management, Business Consultants, Business Intelligence, Investment Management and Innovation Workshop facilitation. In addition, he now managing member a new business called LeatherMet and Charcoal studio that specialised in shoe fixing and key cutting.
