Jhon Castañeda

Jhon Alexander Castañeda Angulo, OLY, is a Colombian Olympic race walker and professional in Production Engineering, holding a Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering from Universidad Distrital Francisco José de Caldas. He represented Colombia at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games in the 20 km race walk, consolidating a distinguished athletic career that includes being a 15-time national champion and representing his country on more than 40 international occasions.

Alongside his athletic trajectory, he has developed strong expertise in organizational management, with experience leading and supporting administrative, financial, and operational processes within sports institutions. His professional background integrates strategic planning, performance analysis, and efficiency optimization, bridging engineering principles with the dynamics of sports organizations.

In parallel with his sporting and academic career, he has built a solid entrepreneurial path within the athletics sector in Bogotá and Colombia. He began in 2011 with the commercialization of sports nutrition, later expanding in 2017 into the development of high-performance customized sportswear for running, positioning himself as a pioneer in offering specialized, high-quality products in the Colombian market. In 2022, he further strengthened his venture by incorporating the distribution of exclusive running footwear, along with performance-oriented accessories.
