Overview: Have been responsible for identifying, developing and executing strategies to help grow Micro, Small, Medium Enterprises (MSME) businesses. Over the past 24 years, I have analyzed market trends, competitive landscapes and company performance to identify opportunities and develop plans to achieve business goals.
I have over 30 years’ experience in hotel/resort executive management and inspection prior to sale. Experienced in pre-opening and post opening of hotels and resorts.

I have assisted individuals secure financing from investors and lenders, by preparing business plans, project proposals, cash flow projections and marketing plans.

I have written numerous Expressions of Interest for projects funded by the World Bank Group and the Caribbean Development Bank.

I worked as a Business Development / Marketing Consultant at Amarna Consult Ltd, where I introduce an new service entitled “ Consult – Design and Build” The company’s revenue escalated in 3 months with new construction contracts.

I have facilitated a number of capacity building training programs for MSME owners in Sales and Marketing, Business Management, Business Plan development, Pricing Strategies and becoming Export Ready as manufacturers. Funding or sponsorship by Inter-American Institute for Cooperation on Agriculture (IICA), Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) and United Nations Development Program (UNDP)

I am also experienced in planning new hotels / Resorts up to 100 rooms and providing pre-opening and post-opening management for hotels/resorts. Interim Management also falls in my portfolio.

My previous work responsibilities included:

Market Research and Analysis: Conducting research to identify potential markets, customers and opportunities for growth.

Strategy Development: Creating and implementing business development strategies, budgets, training manuals and tactics to assist owners and achieve company objectives

Relationship Building: Developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders including investors, lenders, key stakeholders and partners.

Introducing projects for funding: Presenting viable projects to my investor / lender partners in Qatar and the United Arab Emirates. Success rate: 76%.

Proposal Development: Developing and managing proposals for new business opportunities, such as requests for proposals (RFPs)

Collaboration: Working with owners and team members to help structure any business, providing advice on some areas of business law, finance and negotiations.
