John Ohai

John is the founder of OviH20 and Career Dimensions Limited. A chartered fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) London United Kingdom, John is a USCIS and US Department of Labour certified individual with extraordinary ability (EB 1A) in planning, directing, or coordinating Human Resources activities and staff of distinguished organisations (SOC: 11-3121).
With a track record of engaging critical stakeholders in leading transformational change, enhancing employee engagement, and implementing best practice capacity development policies in Africa, Middle East, EU and the United Kingdom, John has demonstrated extraordinary ability in designing and implementing strategic people practice initiatives that promote a high-performance culture, enhance workforce development and drive business growth. Through collaborative working, John has been able to build and nurture relationships at all levels of establishments, engaging with senior leadership to create and sustain a culture of service excellence, inclusivity, and continuous improvement.
Mr. John’s landmark career began in 2000 as a Senior Management Development Officer at the Centre for Management Development (CMD), during which he was actively involved in providing training, research, and management consultancy services across sectors. His later roles as the head of Human Resources at Cargoland and head of Capacity Development at MTN Group saw him successfully managed strategic Human Resources functions that addressed the capacity development needs of over 10,000 multinational telecom and maritime sectors employees.
In the United Kingdom, John has leveraged experience gained providing strategic Human Resources services in extraordinarily complex workplaces to address post-Covid performance and service Improvement challenges in the UK. As a demonstration of his exceptional enterprise development skills management, his two start-ups (Career Dimensions limited and OviH20) have been used as case studies by renowned AcademicEnterprise Development Centres in the United Kingdom.
In recognition of his outstanding achievements in building people and entrepreneurship capabilities in both advanced and developing countries, John has received mentorship nominations from the two largest start-ups and social services skills development hubs in Europe, Africa and the Middle East namely the Tony Elumelu Foundation and Scottish Social Services Council where he presently provides coaching and people management capacity building programs for startups and distinguished organisations.
