Jorge, a US citizen, is a Purdue University graduate with Master of Science degrees in Agricultural Economics and Industrial Administration. Upon leaving the university he dedicated his life to an international career. This has taken him to develop and run businesses in the Food and Biotechnology industries across several different geographies and roles. These include living in the US, Argentina, Brazil, Germany, Mexico, the Netherlands, and the United Kingdom. He started as a Product Manager in Indianapolis, progressing to General Manager, Managing Director, and ended his corporate career as Regional President for Latin America and member of the Strategic Leadership
Team (C-Suite).

Jorge´s corporate ventures spanned through Elanco Animal Health, DuPont, Prosegur, AB Mauri, Imerys and Royal DSM (DSM Food Specialties). Throughout this time, he was in charge of several global projects including the coordination of a JV in China and launched seven entrepreneurial ventures of his own. The last one of these, JRD Solutions, a consulting business, is still active.

Currently, besides JRD, Jorge allocates his time to several engagements at Purdue University´s as a Continuing Lecturer at the Burton D. Morgan Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation, and at Daniels School of Business as Executive in Residence for online programs, and Associate Director for Business Career Services.
