Professional Leadership

As Managing Director of OceanPro Maritime Agency since 2019, Jahangir has spearheaded world-class maritime services at Chittagong and Mongla ports. His expertise encompasses port agency operations, protective services, technical repairs, and logistics. He also serves as a key player in Saami Marine Service, where he has been managing port operations, cost efficiency, and international correspondence since 2010.
Previously, Jahangir held leadership positions at Bravo Ship Supply, M/S A.R Enterprise, and Marine Sea Harvest, where he specialized in procurement, sales, and client relations, enhancing his reputation as a skilled professional in maritime and supply chain operations.

Community Engagement

Beyond his professional endeavors, Jahangir is deeply committed to community service. As President of the Apex Club of Chittagong Central, he leads initiatives that foster service, citizenship, and fellowship. His tenure as Club Marketing Chairperson of Lions Club of Chittagong Tilottoma (2023–2024) showcases his dedication to volunteerism and community building. Jahangir Hosen is also the Founder and Convenor of the Bangladesh Ship Suppliers Forum, an organization dedicated to developing a stronger and more cohesive ship supplier community. His efforts aim to foster collaboration, enhance industry standards, and create a supportive network for ship suppliers in Bangladesh.

Jahangir’s academic credentials include a Master of Business Studies (MBS) in Business Administration, a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.), and an LL.B. from Chittagong Law College. These qualifications underpin his legal and managerial acumen. His technical skills span computer science, graphic design, and web development, bolstered by a certification in Desktop Development Management.
