Kadir Büyükhelvacıgil was born in 1982 in konya. he is in the 4th generation of Helvacızade group which has been active for 135 years. Kadir Büyükhelvacıgil completed his undergraduate studies in environmental engineering in 2005 and masters in total quality management from Selçuk University. Kadir Büyükhelvacıgil also participated in language and certification programs in brighton and bournemouth. Kadir Büyükhelvacıgil was involved in business from his childhood, he joined Helvacızade group as general manager assistant after gaining experience in international companies such as Cargill. as a corporate family business, according to the Helvacızade constitution principles, kadir Büyükhelvacıgil worked at all departments and levels of the company including sales force, accounting, procurement and production, finance and sales management. focusing on it, Kadir Büyükhelvacıgil enabled integration of helvacızade group to new technologies. succeeding in sales and distributor organization of food group, büyükhelvacıgil, played an active role in getting helvacızade into global markets. büyükhelvacıgil showed a successful export strategy by visiting other countries and organizing events with its team and sent zade brand to 80 countries in 5 continents. responsible of the company’s financial process, kadir büyükhelvacıgil had a big contribution in helvacızade’s global reach. with expertise in environmental engineering and total quality management, helvacızade group was nominated europe excellence competence award by kalder. with his all contributions including the production line, kadir büyükhelvacıgil was elected to be a member of the executive board. he still serves as an executive board member and food group director. in addition to his duties at helvacızade group, kadir büyükhelvacıgil also holds different positions. he was a founding member of tobb entrepreneurs council and served as supreme board member for 10 years. in 2020, he became gen turkey executive board member, founded by gen global.
