Dr Avitus Leonard
Dr. Avitus Leonard is a visionary leader, philosopher, and architect of transformative ideas in strategy, leadership, and global education. At Creditinfo Tanzania Limited, he serves as Strategy & Communications Officer for Product Solutions, where he fuses insight, foresight, and creativity to craft high-impact strategies, guide stakeholder engagement, and elevate organizational influence and purpose.
A recognized UNESCO Inclusive Policy Lab (IPL) Expert, Dr. Leonard shapes global education policies that champion equity, inclusion, and opportunity. His commitment to knowledge and collaboration is reflected in his membership with the Academic Network on Global Education & Learning, the Australia–International Collaborative Research Organisation, The Institute of Project Management (Durban, Northern Ireland), and Europeana Pro, bridging local action with global vision.
As a member of the Harvard Business Review Advisory Council and an accredited Visiting Professor at Northwest International University representing Cambridge International University, Spain(Tanzania), he translates theory into practice, inspiring leaders and learners alike. A philosopher at heart and a scholar by discipline, Dr. Leonard is the founding president of Dei Institute – Online University (DIOU), redefining the landscape of online education and opening pathways for students across the world to pursue knowledge, purpose, and meaningful impact.
