Md Kamruzzaman

I am Md. Kamruzzaman Didar, currently serving as an Assistant Professor and Head of the Department of Innovation & Entrepreneurship at Daffodil International University. I completed my BBA from Daffodil International University and my MBA in Finance from the University of Dhaka. Additionally, I have completed an FDP in Finance and Accounting from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad (IIMA) and am currently pursuing a Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) at the Institute of Business Administration (IBA), University of Dhaka. I also received training on entrepreneurship from the Kauffman Foundation, further strengthening my expertise in startup development and innovation.

My passion lies in entrepreneurship, fintech, startup development, behavioral finance, financial analysis, and entrepreneurial finance. Over the years, I have been actively involved in fostering entrepreneurial ecosystems, mentoring over 15 startups, and consulting for 3 Dhaka-based statups. I have also been deeply engaged in social business and social entrepreneurship initiatives, contributing to sustainable business models that drive societal impact.

Beyond my academic and mentoring roles, I have published research papers in renowned journals, including Scopus-indexed publications, and have presented at both national and international conferences, earning the Best Paper Award at the Bangkok Annual Business and Social Science Research Conference. I have participated in numerous research seminars and workshops worldwide and have supervised over 20 internship theses, guiding students in both academic research and entrepreneurial ventures.

Through my work, I aim to empower aspiring entrepreneurs, foster innovation, and bridge the gap between academia and real-world business challenges, ensuring that students and startups alike have the knowledge, resources, and networks to thrive in the ever-evolving entrepreneurial landscape.
