Dr. Kelly G. Shaver's career includes prior affiliations with the National Science Foundation, the College of William & Mary, and the Entrepreneurship and Small Business Research Institute (ESBRI) in Stockholm. His highly cited work has been supported by the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation and the National Science Foundation (Award #IIP-0917987). Shaver is a Fellow of the American Psychological Society, a Fellow of the Society for Personality and Social Psychology, and a Justin Longenecker Fellow of the United States Association of Small Business and Entrepreneurship, whose Lifetime Achievement Award he won in 2019. He is past Chair of the Entrepreneurship Division of the Academy of Management, past Editor of Entrepreneurship Theory & Practice, and a current Associate Editor of the Journal of Small Business Management. He is the founder and President of MindCette, the entrepreneurial testing company that won the 2018 Compass Award for Research Champions.
