For me, logistics isn't just about transportation. It's about driving efficiency, enabling transparency, and expanding access on a global scale. It's both a science and a strategy, and once I understood its impact on economies, prices, and opportunities, I never looked back.
The term "Logistologyst" may not officially exist, but I coined it to reflect that combination of specialization and purpose. It's what happens when logistics becomes more than just a function: it becomes a mission.

Logistologyst:
logistikē - logy - ist : λογιστική - λογία - ιστής :
• logistikē → logistics (from Greek, meaning systematic organization and calculation)
• -logy → the study or field of knowledge
• -ist → one who practices or specializes in

With over 30 years in global shipping and logistics, my career has spanned every layer of the supply chain, from navigating cargo vessels across continents to leading cross-functional teams in major international trade operations. I’ve lived the complexity of global commerce from both onboard and the boardroom.

After holding leadership roles in companies like CSAV (now Hapag Lloyd), Norasia, NACHIPA and SSM Chile, I built a deep understanding of the systemic inefficiencies in global logistics, and the opportunities hidden within them.

Today, as Founder & CEO of ComexPoint, I’m building the digital infrastructure for the next era of global logistics.

We don’t replicate freight forwarding infrastructure, we orchestrate it. That’s how we scale faster, leaner, and with greater margin efficiency than traditional or digital forwarders

Our platform connects importers and exporters with verified providers, removing opacity, eliminating hidden costs, and enabling predictable trade.

Backed by a multidisciplinary team across maritime, tech, and trade, we’re scaling from Chile to the U.S. and beyond, unlocking value for businesses and entire economies.

Validated by early traction in Chile, our home market, serving paying customers, demonstrating strong demand, and achieving solid unit economics.
We’re now raising a seed round to scale further locally and accelerate our U.S. expansion through a differentiated model: unlike traditional or digital freight forwarders, we’re efficient, asset-light, and purpose-driven.
