Leili Abdi

Leili Abdi is an interdisciplinary researcher and academic specializing in philanthropy, corporate social responsibility, and sustainable development. She holds a Master of Arts in Philanthropic Studies from Indiana University’s Lilly Family School of Philanthropy and a Master of Science in Business Administration. Her academic and professional journey spans research in consumer behavior, travel philanthropy, and business ethics, with a keen interest in the intersection of tourism, social impact, and environmental responsibility.

She has contributed significantly to the scholarly landscape through journal publications and conference presentations, addressing topics such as digital entrepreneurship, withdrawal behavior, and the role of corporate social responsibility in the industry.
Leili's research integrates organization theory, leadership, and prosocial behavior, focusing on how businesses and nonprofits can drive social good through strategic philanthropy and ethical business practices. Additionally, she has experience in donor engagement, nonprofit leadership, and policy advocacy within the philanthropic ecosystem.

Currently, Leili has been accepted into the Ph.D. program at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV), William F. Harrah College of Hospitality, a top-ranked institution for hospitality administration. Her doctoral research will explore sustainable development in hospitality and tourism, focusing on innovative policies and business strategies that balance economic growth with environmental and social sustainability.
