Lennart Jordan

Lennart Jordan is an Austrian youth entrepreneurial advocate and institutional affairs professional with a particular focus on youth entrepreneurship, economic development and international cooperation. He is the former Executive President and current UN System Representative of Junior Enterprises Global (JE Global), the international organisation representing the Junior Enterprise Movement worldwide (www.juniorenterprises.org). The Movement connects more than 2,100 student-led consulting associations across more than 50 countries, enabling around 100,000 young people each year to gain practical entrepreneurial and leadership experience.

During his term of presidency at JE Global, Lennart led the organisation’s global representation and institutional development. He now serves as JE Global’s UN System Representative, coordinating engagement with governments, United Nations entities, European institutions and other international stakeholders. He was a member to the UN Expert Group on SDG8 in 2024 and UN Expert Group member on SDG9 in 2025.

Prior to his global mandate, Lennart served as President of Junior Enterprises Austria, collaborating with the institutional environment of Austria and within EU policy circles. In total he has 5+ years of experience serving advocacy and youth empowerment roles in multilateral contexts.

Beyond the Junior Enterprise Movement, Lennart serves on the Supervisory Board of the UN Volunteer Groups Alliance and has been involved in the Regional Civil Society Engagement Mechanism of the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe. In 2026, he was selected as a Max Thabiso Edkins Youth Ambassador of the World Bank Group. He also serves on several groups of the European Economic and Social Council and several EU advisory groups.

Across these roles, Lennart has focused on strengthening the institutional voice of young entrepreneurs and connecting youth-led organisations with governments, international organisations and established economic actors. He is particularly interested in how global entrepreneurship ecosystems can better recognise youth-led organisations as partners in economic development, skills development and innovation, and how international networks can translate institutional cooperation into concrete opportunities for young entrepreneurs.
