Luis Hernandez

As founder and CEO of Leadership and Strategy Group (LSG). Luis Hernández offers unique capabilities based on his more than 20 years of experience in business, sales, finance, high risk investments and technology; as well as experience on different industries including information systems, telecommunications, banking, airports and tourism. At the same time, Luis Hernandez has a strong knowledge and a proven track record in developing and implementing business strategies.

Before founding LSG, Luis Hernandez has worked for companies like TechBA (Technology Business Accelerator), where he was in charge of attracting venture capital investors and business development for a portfolio of technology based companies in industries like: Renewable Energy, Clean Technologies, Information Systems, Medical Devices, Manufacturing and Aerospace to speed up their process of increasing sales in the US. He was also responsible for introducing companies into different ecosystems like Phoenix, Silicon Valley, Detroit, among others.

Before, Luis Hernandez was the Head of HTTS for Global Banking and Markets and Risk for Latin America in HSBC. On this position, he was responsible for:
USD$32Billions in asset s under management in the information systems department under his charge.
His position included coordinating the development, modeling and implementation of different products including securities, derivatives, income instruments and wealth management products and technology working with teams from India, Hong Kong, UK, US, Canada and Latin America. All these achievements allowed him to be considered among the 10 best high level executives in Latin America for HSBC.

As Business Development Director for Latin America and the Caribbean region in RCI/Wyndham , he was responsible for the development of franchises, joint ventures schemes and also the development of programs to increase sales in the region for up to $80M USD.

As Business Development Manager in IBM , he was responsible to identify growth opportunities, lead generation and sales increase in different industries.

Other abilities includes the development of Joint-Venture schemes in technology companies, due diligence process, M&A as well as portfolio management, investment analysis under high risk conditions and schemes of near/off –shore development.

Luis Hernandez possess multicultural experience, speaks 4 languages and has lived in countries like England, Germany, Italy and the US.
