Lucia Weathers

Lucia Weathers is the owner and CEO of Weathers Strategy Group (WSG), a strategic communications and consulting agency that works with clients who are passionate about solving societal issues. She has over 20 years of experience in corporate communications, crisis communications, public relations, and photography, across various industries and sectors.

At WSG, Lucia leads a team of talented and innovative partners who provide services such as media relations, public affairs, issues management, internal communications, and photography. She also oversees the operations of two affiliated organizations: Lum & Ele Public Relations, a pro-bono boutique PR firm that helps clients illuminate and elevate their brand, and LAW of Love Photography, a photography business that captures the love of life and visual storytelling. Lucia is driven by her mission to support cause-driven companies, philanthropic initiatives, and corporate social responsibility.

Before founding WSG, Lucia held senior positions at national organizations focused on philanthropy, education, and federal policy, including Lumina Foundation, Strada Education Foundation, and Stand Together. She also has experience in state government from her work at the Hoosier Lottery, an Indiana State Agency. She started her career at the American Legion Auxiliary National Headquarters, a female veterans’ membership-based organization, and gained valuable skills and insights from internships at The American Legion, Riley Children’s Foundation, and WTHR-Channel 13 – the NBC television affiliate in Indianapolis.

Lucia holds a BA in public and corporate communication from Butler University, and an MBA from Anderson University. She is an advocate of lifelong learning and being a kind human. She is always looking for new opportunities to collaborate and learn from others who share her vision and values.
