Lucy Cooke is the Founder & CEO of SpaceDraft, a category-defining software platform that is transforming the way people communicate across space and time. With a background in behavioral science, Lucy originally invented SpaceDraft to help non-verbal autistic children visually express themselves. That mission — to give a voice to the voiceless — has since evolved into a global ambition: to build a new universal language for humanity.

Today, SpaceDraft is used across mining, defence, healthcare, education, and entertainment. The platform blends movement, imagery, sound, and story to visually map “the how,” not just “the what.” Whether planning a mine shutdown, coordinating an emergency response, or onboarding a neurodivergent employee, SpaceDraft replaces outdated PDFs, Gantt charts, and PowerPoints with one shared source of visual truth — instantly understandable by anyone, regardless of age, language, ability, or cognition.

Lucy brings a uniquely creative and technical lens to entrepreneurship. As a former Hollywood visual effects coordinator, she worked on major productions such as Game of Thrones and Pirates of the Caribbean. Frustrated by clunky communication systems on film sets, she set out to design a tool that would enable clarity and creativity to coexist. That same tool is now helping Fortune 500 companies improve operational efficiency, inclusivity, and engagement at scale.

Under Lucy’s leadership, SpaceDraft has enabled faster training, safer operations, and clearer planning in high-stakes environments, while earning the trust of education and public safety partners as a tool for better engagement and access. SpaceDraft has raised $2.9 million AUD in funding from family offices and private investors.
