Maimoona Hasnain

I'm Maimoona Hasnain, an independent career counselor with over a decade of experience, training, and expertise in the field of career counseling and university applications. Having worked as a guidance counselor in a leading high school in Islamabad, Pakistan, I've decided to embark on a new venture — a service startup aimed at bridging the gap in affordable college counseling services.

Throughout my tenure at the high school, I've built cherished memories, shared laughter, wiped away tears, and most importantly, celebrated the successes of my students. The love and respect I've earned from both students and colleagues are deeply meaningful to me. In recognition of my contributions, I was honored with the 'Counselor of the Year Award' in 2020 by the United States Education Foundation Pakistan (USEFP) and the 'Student Choice Best Counselor Award' in 2019.
My commitment to excellence is reflected in my certifications, including recognition with distinction as a 'Certified Counselor' by the British Council and College Board. To stay at the forefront of my field, I attended the Summer Institute for Counselors at New York University (Abu Dhabi) and had the privilege of representing Pakistan in a counselor's fly-in program at Yale NUS (Singapore).

Beyond personal achievements, I've actively contributed to the growth of my high school's counseling department. I played a crucial role in training junior counselors and staff members through formal training programs such as the National Counselors Colloquium in 2018, 2019, and 2020.

What brings me immense pride is the success of my students, many of whom are now studying on scholarships in countries such as the USA, Canada, Turkey, Australia, Italy, Poland, Hungary, Germany, China, Malaysia, Singapore, Abu Dhabi, Dubai, the UK, Northern Cyprus, Malaysia, and Pakistan.

I'm excited about this new chapter in my entrepreneurial journey and remain dedicated to making quality career counseling accessible to a wider audience. Since September 2022 , from its commencement URAAN has catered clients for career counseling and university placements from Dubai, Saudi, Turkey, Karachi, Rawalpindi, Islamabad, Lahore, Gujranwala, Hyderabad, Sialkot, Abottabad, Kamoke, Faisalabad , Wah Cannt and Chakwal. And so far we have been able to get above 95% customer satisfaction in the form of their positive feedback to our services.
