Makhosazana Masilela

Makhosazana Masilela has more than 10 years Senior Management experience in Supply Chain Management and Transformation in Government.She is currently a Deputy Chairperson of the State Owned Procurement Forum (SOEPF) and holds a position as a Senior Manager for Enterprise and Supplier Development at Transnet.Makhosazana Masilela has worked for, amongst others, the dti as the BEE Director heading Procurement Transformation and B-BEE Verification Directorate. She has contributed to the review of PPPFA Regulations and amendments of B-BBEE Act and Codes of Good Practice.Ms. Masilela has provided leadership in the development of B-BBEE Management Development Programme currently offered by UNISA and WITS Enterprise.She is also a co-author of a scholarly article - “The relative importance of managerial competencies for predicting the perceived job performance of Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment Verification Practitioners’’ published by SA Journal of Human Resource Management.She holds a Magister Technologiae: Business Administration; Postgraduate in Executive Leadership; B-BBEE Management Development Programme; National Diploma in Commercial Practice; Professional Certificates -Programme in Purchasing Management and Advance Programme in Sourcing and Supply Chain Management. She also holds a professional membership with Charted Institutions of Purchasing and Supply.
